I am so proud of my students who participated in the annual Barnes & Noble recital! Fifteen of my students performed a range of solo and duo music, including several first-time performers. At the end of the performance, I played a classical guitar arrangement of “Silent Night” as the audience raised up their voices in song to herald in the holiday season. Every year, the Foothills Music Teacher Association takes over the Barnes & Noble cafe during the second weekend of December to fill the air with the sounds of music for the holiday shoppers and families of music students.
